New music equipment from RCF

The Italian company RCF, as always, presented a large number of new products at its stand at the Prolight + Sound 2016 exhibition. One of the main ones can be called TTL6-A. This is an active three-way (2 x 12” + 4 x 6.5” + 1 x 3”) musical column with high power and a record high level of musical pressure - up to 139 dB. To complement this system for concert use, the TTL6-AS active subwoofer is available.

Concert music columns are clearly becoming one of the “tricks” of RCF: after the release of the extremely successful NXL24-Aseria NX, it was replenished with a more powerful model NXL44-A (134 dB, 1400 W peak, 700 W RMS, 3x10"+ 1 x 1.4"). It is also obvious that RCF is uncontrollably rushing into the market of “big box office” and stadium concerts.

On the outdoor stand for a loud demonstration, the HDL50-A active line array, complemented by an HDL53-AS suspended subwoofer, shook the walls of the exhibition center. You can also use SUB9007-AS and SUB9006-AS to work with this array. The elements of the line array have a classic basis for large-format speakers - two 12” speakers, which are complemented by four symmetrically located 6.5” midrange speakers and two 2” drivers. The system's capabilities are impressive: max. musical pressure 140 dB, power 4400/2200 W (peak/RMS). The low weight of the cabinet is achieved by combining plywood and composite material in the body material, and the RDNet protocol allows for remote control of the system. Users are offered a wide range of touring accessories for the HDL50: power distribution and audio/control racks, various cables and other important little things.

A very important market for RCF is equipping stadiums with stationary music sets (for example, the home arenas of Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach are already equipped), and many new products are addressed specifically to this market. For example, at the stand were presented HDL6-A - a compact element of an active line array in a composite housing (max. SPL131 dB, speakers 2 x 6.5" + 1.7"), HDL12-AS - a suspended active subwoofer with a 12" speaker, TTL55-A Stadium is a modification for stadiums of the already known TTL55-A linear array element model.

The new CK series is also intended for various installations - a line of mid-budget passive loudspeakers (the presented models are called CK12, CK15, CK25).

Several years ago, RCF launched the production of mixers, and the development engineers are not going to stop there: the stand presented analog mixers of the new E series (models E12, E16, E24), as well as digital mixers for musicians with control from a tablet computer - M8 and M18 .
